Geoprobe® 7800 truck mounted drill rig
Geoprobe® 7800 Truck Mounted Direct Push and Auger Rig: Geoprobes® 7800 truck mounted drill rig is one of Geoprobes most powerful and versatile rigs and allows for quick mobilization from site to site. This machine is attached to a four-wheel drive Dodge 5500 chassis to access those off-pavement drilling locations. The machine is equipped with a powerful GH64 hammer, GA4000 2-speed auger head, auto drop hammer for geotechnical soil sampling, Moyno® 2L4 pump, and integrated drill mast oscillation for drill hole set up on uneven ground. The total rig weight with tooling approaches 19,500 lbs and it can turn 8-inch diameter augers for shallow 2-inch diameter well installations and well destructions along with 2- and 3-inch direct push sampling tooling and injection tooling. The overhead mast and winch system allows for quick rod and auger removal and advancement to keep the drilling time between holes to a minimum. Concrete coring is available for 2- to 6-inch core diameters up to 6-inches of concrete slab thickness.
Geoprobe® 7800 truck mounted drill rig
This direct push rig can perform soil, groundwater, and soil gas sampling including remedial injections using 36-inch, 48-inch or 60-inch long drilling rods. This machine can run single rod or dual tube drilling rod configurations. Discrete or continuous core soil samples can be obtained. Geotechnical samples can be obtained using the 140-pound auto drop hammer. Groundwater samples can be collected from an open bore hole, using pre-packed wells screen, temporary slotted well screen, or temporary wells using a peristaltic pump, check valves and tubing, and mini-bailers.
Soil gas samples can be obtained by installing permanent or semi-permanent soil gas wells with one sample interval and depth per bore hole or multiple sample intervals and depths per bore hole (nested wells or multi-depth wells).
