Geoprobe® 7822DT Track Mounted Limited Access Direct Push Rig
This powerful track mounted limited access machine was designed specifically to be durable and powerful. It is equipped with robust GH63 series hammer, 2-speed auger head attachment, and automatic drop down hammer for geotechnical drilling. The rig is equipped with a drop rack system with rod rack and water transport system. The rig also is equipped with a hydraulic liner extruder and Moyno® 2L4 progressive cavity pump. The total rig weight with tooling approaches 10,000 lbs and it is able to work inside buildings, in limited access areas, and low overhead clearance areas. With a total width of approximately 5.5 feet and a total mast height of 16 feet, this rig can work in side most buildings and under most canopies. The rig can perform direct push drilling, auger drilling (up to 10-inch diameter augers) and solid rock drilling. It is delivered to the site on a trailer with one or more support vehicles depending on the job.
This limited access direct push rig can perform soil, groundwater, and soil gas sampling along with remedial injection using 60 inch long drilling rods. Discrete or continuous core soil samples can be obtained. Groundwater samples can be collected from an open bore hole, using pre-packed wells screen, temporary slotted well screen, or temporary wells using a peristaltic pump, check valves and tubing, and mini-bailers.
Soil gas samples can be obtained by installing permanent or semi-permanent soil gas wells with one sample interval and depth per bore hole or multiple sample intervals and depths per bore hole (nested wells or multi-depths wells).
